Why Refer Product Brands to Five Star Commerce?
- CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS WITH HOURLY RATES – Whether the brand you talk to needs just temporary help or a long term engagement, we’re typically a good fit.
- HIGH SUCCESS RATE WITH SMALL AND LARGE BUDGETS – Because we can help our clients with as little as or much as they need, on nearly any budget, most of the brands we talk to become clients (75%+). Many other agencies can only close deals with 10% of their referrals.
- NO-PRESSURE SALES PROCESS – We don’t ever pressure clients to work with us. If they want to talk, we’ll have a conversation with them and we can chat to see if it’s a good fit, then we’ll let them decide if/when they want to start. Never fear that you’re sending your clients to someone’s sales funnel.
- RECURRING COMMISSIONS – We pay 10% of revenue from all your referrals every month forever (with some limitations).
- NO MARKUPS, EVER – We pay rewards out of our marketing budget. We never charge clients more because they were from a referral.

What kind of companies should I refer to you? Who should I not refer?
We’re happy to talk with any company that sells physical products and potentially wants help managing Amazon or Walmart.com. If they aren’t in a good business situation where our help would make sense for them, we’ll determine that when we speak with them and we won’t take them on as a client. However, don’t hesitate to refer them to us. If we ever feel you’re sending too many referrals that are not a good fit, that’s no big deal and we’ll just discuss that with you.
How do I become a referral partner?
Send an email to partners@fivestarcommerce.com or fill out the contact form below and we can send you are referral agreement and get your Paypal information so we are able to send you your rewards.
How do I refer a business to you?
You can either introduce them to us via email, or just have them reach out to us via our website and tell us that you referred them. Don’t have them reach out through a third-party platform like Upwork (otherwise it counts as a referral from Upwork).

Why is the commission rate 10%?
We budget out 10% of all revenue to marketing. We’re paying you what we would otherwise spend on marketing. If you’ve had agencies offer higher commissions keep in mind the following:
- With hourly & customizable arrangements, we can meet most clients needs and our close rate is very high (75%+). With many agencies, they may only work with 10% or less of the clients who are referred to them.
- We pay recurring commissions forever, most referral agreements only pay for the revenue during the 1st year.
How long do you pay out rewards for our referrals?
We plan on paying you out a percentage of revenue for your referrals indefinitely (subject to some limitations). So you might continually get payments for one referral for years if they keep using us (most do). The details are in our referral agreement which we can send to you when you reach out to partners@fivestarcommerce.com
When do we receive our reward payments?
We typically send you payments via Paypal roughly 30 days after we receive payments from your referrals. We pay out commissions manually so it may not be on an exact day (we don’t send them out on weekends). We’ll never take more than 60 days though.
