Our hourly pricing ensures that our clients get the most bang for the buck. We'll get your a project manager or senior project manager assigned to you. Some brands need only a little bit of work, others need a lot of work. Most clients use a combination of a project manager and specialists. No more long term contracts or paying for services you don't need.
Typical Monthly Costs
Choose how much you'd like to spend and change your budget month to month. We're experts at working within budgets large and small. Most brands start in the higher tier fir the first few months and then naturally drop down to lower tiers as the workload drops (which is a good thing).
Basic Account Maintenance Or Consulting
4-8 Hours/Month- Great for small brands who are already up on Walmart and just need some extra assistance managing the account
- This is also a good fit for brands that just need some consulting for specific problems or issues they are dealing with
- This typically will not be enough time for larger brands or when launching new account or products.
- This typically won't be enough time to provide graphic design, photography, or video editing services.

When is the best part of the process to contact Five Star Commerce?
If you work for a product brand and you're interested in selling your brands products on Walmart, or you're already selling on Walmart, and want some expert help, we'd love to talk with you.
Ideally you can start working with us 3+ months before you hope to be live. That will usually give you enough time to get through all the approvals that you'll need to sell. In some cases, there may be issues with your product packaging or barcodes that have to be changed so the process can move smoothly. It's ok to if you contact us later, we'll get you up as soon as we can, but in some cases approvals (category approval, brand name authorization, GTIN exemptions, etc.) are taking a month or two.
How long does it take to start selling on Walmart if our brand isn't selling on Walmart yet?
Assuming you're already an existing product brand, it's usually going to be a 1-2 month process. The part that typically takes time is not us getting things done, but rather the approvals and logistical things that have to be put in place before you're ready. If you're already selling on other marketplaces, then in some cases the process to bring recreate your listings on Walmart.com can be much faster.
Here's some things that usually have to be done in most projects that can cause the project to take longer than one might think.
- Account Signup & Verification
You'll have to signup for a Walmart Seller Account and then submit business information before Walmart officially decides to let you sell on the platform (we can help you with this step).
- UPC code approval
Your UPC codes ideally are registered under the exact same name that will be in your "brand field." This will usually prevent Walmart from flagging the UPC code. If there are issues with your UPC codes, or they've been used incorrectly on Walmart before, we'll have to work that out.
GTIN Exemptions
For some brands, it makes more sense not to use UPC codes for each of your listings. This is usually the case for things such as clothing, where you have a high number of SKUs. If the brand names are on the product, this approval will usually take a week or less. For brands that don't have their logo on their products, this may necessitate actually having your logo printed on one of the products in order to get the approval.
- Category Approval
Some products don't require category approval. Others do. If you have the documentation Walmart requires, this will usually take a week or two. In some cases Walmart might reject your documentation, you might not have the documents they want, or the documentation they ask for might be impossible to get because it has no releveance for your product. We might have to appeal those things which can take several weeks.
- Technical Glitches
It's very common for some features to not work correctly on seller central. For example, connecting variations is very buggy. Often after getting brand registered, some of the features don't work correctly. In those cases we have to petition seller support to get them to fix these issues. These can take several weeks, and for some problems, months. In some cases, there might be technical glitches that can't be fixed and we'll have to find a workaround.
Note that once your products are live and available for sale, that's still the beginning of the process. There's a lot to do in order to earn reviews, getting visibility, and growing the sales. For brands that are new to Walmart, the first 3-6 months selling are still a testing to phase that will help determine how much potential your brand has with selling on Walmart.

Do you help new sellers select products to sell?
Our services are intended for existing businesses and we work with many small businesses that are new or relatively new to Walmart. However, we don't provide ideas for products to sell. For an existing brand that has a product line we can give suggestions on which products might have the most potential on Walmart and which ones to focus on.
We don't provide "product ideas" as that would be a conflict of interest with the hundreds of brands we work with. We don't want to give away an idea that another brand is using, or offer a service where we can't actually provide good recommendations.
Are there certain types of products that you don't work with?
We work with almost all physical product categories. Certain types of products likes books or software may not be a good fit. However, we'd still be happy to talk with you about it and have a conversation.
